Pretty good finds this month, no luck on finding the lost ring, but we sure gave it a good try with seven hunter's that showed up to help find Mrs. Brousard's gold ring. The club is always ready to help someone look for a lost item and sometimes we even find it! If you are new to the club, check out our detecting classes, they are "New and Improved" with games and prizes to help you improve your detecting techniques, held on saturdays after the last meeting when there are sufficient sign ups at the meeting.

Don't forget to sign up for the November drawing, put on by Jim Normand, at White's. There are up to 5 winners with great prizes like pin pointers, head phones, and DVDs. All you need to do is go to the website and go to the related links and click on enter the drawing. Fill out the form and submit, Good Luck!

This saturday the 23rd will be a club hunt at Hansen Dam Park, hunting begins at 9am and there is always a chance of finding a silver coin at this park built in the 30's, there are still lots of coins in the ground. Several nice rings have also been found in the park. Be there for the silver coin shootout too!

Congratulations to Dennis on submitting his story of finding a barber half dollar to White's, they liked his story and are going to use it in there ads. For his trouble he got a $100 gift certificate. Very cool!

We had many good finds this month, but there can only be 1 winner… per category that is.
