Unfortunately Jim's annual Beach Hunt was cancelled this month due to the rain. It has been rescheduled for next month. Bob decided to have a detecting class to take the place of the hunt! Same place and same time. Bill Bixley demonstrated how to make your own headphones, very interesting. By using inexpensive materials he came up with a nice set of headphones! Wireless headphones are another option and Bob Clement also had a demonstration on a pair of headphones he  converted to wireless. These guys are always thinking of cool stuff for detecting. Email the website if you want info on either demo. Bill Watson also gave a demonstration on the "Evolution of making your own sand scoop." He went through several prototypes before coming up with a design he was happy with.
