First meeting of the year and forty people came out, a very good turnout. Members brought their best finds of 2010, and there was plenty of great finds last year. First on the agenda was awarding the trophy for hunter of the year. Bill Watson was the winner for 2010 as voted by members. Good job Bill! The club was asked to participate in a pilot for a new show on metal detecting. Gurney Productions is producing the show and they want members to send in video of them describing a "great find" they might have had. You might get chosen to host the show! The club will also be spotlighted on conejovalleyguide.com, look for us in February. Detecting class will be he'd this saturday the 22nd at Ranch Madera Park located in Woodranch starting at 8am. Bob runs the class and it's always a good time. Go and try out his pinpointing game!
