This was our annual "Finds of the year" meeting, members bring in their best finds of 2011. There were plenty of rings and coins to look at. We also had our gift exchange, which is always a good time. Look for an article about the club being done by the Ventura County Star Newspaper. The club would like to thank Alicia Doyle for putting this story together. In other news this month the club was asked to participate or help out the police dept. of Simi Valley without giving any details, the club was told they were a great help, and would be asked back in the future if needed. Well another year in detecting is gone, I hope everyone found some good stuff! 2012 looks to be a great year for the club, we hope to have club events throughout and lots of activities for members.
